so, i haven't posted in a million years. or 27 years to be exact.
anyway. school is awesome. I'm doing pretty much very very well.
I HAVE MY PERMIT! WOOH IM A MEAN LEAN DRIVING MACHINE!
or just a DRIVING MACHINE!
im writing a fantasy novel, it's amazing.

GUESS WHAT!!??!??!? I MADE ALL-STATE ORCHESTRA!
HOORAY!

of course, they mixed up all of the names on accident,
so you can just call me "margaret almond"

i go to the Y a lot. it's very fun.
I'm 'teaching' art classes, or assisting teaching at joplin. in 4th grade classes. I'm the basic teacher, so it's really fun to see the little kids do art and stuff.

i have to go shower now. so...

okay i love everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I was wondering when you were going to find out about orchestra. but i must say, bex (or should I say margaret), it sounds like you are super-busy. But it's all fun (especially the driving:) )

A li'l something to get you in the holiday mood..

Okay, so here's the story behind this. We were reading scriptures, in Corinthians, about resurrection and being called back to the Lord or something....It mentioned something about the trumpets of God welcoming you back to heaven, and mom broke out into the trumpet fanfare from some Handel's Messiah piece. Becca, Lexi, and I did not (obviously) get the reference, but later on Dad broke out into some awesome Handel bass, and then...Voila! Mom came in with the trumpet fanfare, which was part of the song! We tried to get her to do it again on video, but she said she "does not perform on command." (next time we'll carry around a camera all the time just in case!) but anyways, here's what scripture reading is like at our house...enjoy! Love, Eliza

All-Northwest Audition

I auditioned for the All-Northwest Orchestra this past Saturday; hopefully it went pretty well. I don't know when we'll get results, but I'll be sure to let everyone know PROMPTLY. I'm really nervous, so everyone cross your fingers for me!!! ps. people need to be posting more on this blog!! i want to hear about liza and lexi's adventures at college, i want to hear about nicole and monica's new baby stories!!! i'm stuck here all by myself so people POST MORE so i know what's going on!!!!! love bec
