Eliza's Christmas Wish List

Okay so this list is not full or complete, but then again, I dont have a whole lot of wishes this year. I pretty much just want to spend time doing the things that we love about the holiday season- I want to play, and laugh, and sing, and dance, and write, and eat, and decorate, and read, and stuff! I know that sounds cheezy, but I'm in a sentimental mood this year! Okay the list: 1. ANYTHING! 2. I like organizational things, anything that puts things out of sight, or anything that I can have fun reorganizing again and again! Like things to put papers in, or things to scrapbook with, or things to put my purses in, or places for jewelry and stuff. 3. Clothing (DUH!) especially business-like wear, such as blazers, or cute scarves, or jewelry thats a little more professional, I don't know where I have the time or reason to wear such garb, but I like it all the same! 4. Church novels, church study guides, anything that involves the scriptures or pictures of gospel events, and any g

Moving on up...

Hello members of the Cannariato-Almond clan, I just thought I'd give you an update on my life here in p-town. The summer has flown by and abruptly ended. Steph and I started moving out of our apartment yesterday - NOT my favorite thing. I think I would rather run another half-marathon. We still have more to do today, plus all the cleaning. We're not quite sure where we will stay tonight as both our contracts at our apartments don't start until later on this week. Maybe we'll have to have an unexpected camp-out:) Ah, the spontaneous joys of college life. Hope everyone is doing well! Love you all, Nicole

Monday: the day of PAIN

Hi all, this is becca. Oh my gosh, today was my second day of Cross Country, and we went to Hillside Junior High for it. Let me tell you, it isn't called that for nothing. we ran about 2 miles on the foothills, (remember how hard it was backpacking? that's about how steep it was). Then we did Hill re-runs (where you run up this super steep hill about 8 times). The coaches all agreed taht the head coach (Danny whatever) was crazy. Jake skinner threw up four times. I met a new friend, Jenny, she is a Senior in college, and she goes to NNU. She is so sweet, because when i would get tired running, she would keep pushing me and make me go farther. I started feeling sick, so i only did one of the hill re-runs, and Jenny and Coach Young (the girls coach, she is great) just walked around the hills. The three of us (four including Coach Young's dog, Aspen) all decided to head back early. I dont know how it happened, but Jenny and I got seperated from Coach Young, and we ended up ta

To Run and Not Be Weary...

Well Family, the half-marathoners did survive! WAHOOO!!!! The race was actually really fun. We go to the buses at about 5:40am and there were over 1,000 participants. We then drove on the bus up to the start line up Provo Canyon, got out and walked around for a bit. We saw Joanne, our old roommate, and decided to run with her. When they shot the gun for us to start, there were so many runners that we didn't even start running until about 2 or 3 minutes after. So we finally started running and it was...(can you believe it)... FUN! I had tons more fun than I thought I would. And we ran the entire 13.1 miles! We did it in about 2:04 which was faster than I expected. My knees didn't hurt until about mile 11. But the last half mile or so, even though I was hurting, there were lots of people cheering us on which made we want to run faster and ignore the pain. The finish was fun! There was a live band, pancakes, cantelope, watermelon, water, etc. So Steph and I ate some of that and ju

Registration

Dearest people of the family, Well, today I'm going to officially be a Senior!!! Isn't it weird? I don't take my school picture today (thank goodness!) but I have to go by myself, but I'm a big girl and I can do it! I also really want to hear about the marathon and Matt and anything else anyone wants to write. Have a great day! Lexi

Eliza's Date!

I went on a date last night with Brennan Powell! We went and saw "The Devil Wears Prada" with Greg Belnap and his date. It is SUCH a cute movie! well I like all the clothes at least! haha- Then we went to Primo's for all-you-can-eat pizza! They had dessert pizza and stuff (I ate 11 pieces.....the most out of anyone.....hmmmhmmhmmm) We played Karaoke Revolution after that at Greg's house- which is so much fun! we were doing duets, so Brennan and I sang "RESPECT" and stuff....even though we werent very good! (we'll have to buy it for our house and practice!) My favorite part about the date was that every time we got in or out of the car, the guys would run around and open the doors for us, and we kept forgetting to let them be gentlemen, and it probably looked really funny to anyone walking by! haha, just thought i would keep you all posted on my super hot dating life (yah right)! Nic and Steph- how was the marathon? And Monica- I LOVE the pictures for th

WELCOME FAMILY MEMBERS!

Hi everyone! It's becca. We've come to a decision that a family blog would be easier than a family email. What about you guys? I'll email you guys info and such, so that you guys can post as well! I love you guys all so much, and i can't wait to see the older girls soon! Nicole, you got to tellus how picking up matt went, and you both have to tell us how the 1/2 Marathon went! SO....I guess i'll just see you guys around! Post!!!!! Love love love, all ways all the time, Becca-boo
