Update from Sister Cannariato

I received a call about 2:30 this afternoon from Stephanie. She was with the Mission President and another missionary driving to Kirtland, where she will spend the next week recovering. While she sounded just a little loopy, she said everything went well with the knee surgery. She is anxious to get back to her area/companion. Thanks for your faith and prayers on her behalf.

Christmas Run Fun

Image
Our family is the GREATEST! This morning we braved bitter temperatures and joined hundreds of other "santa's helpers" in the 23rd Annual YMCA Christmas Run. We all finished the 2.5 mile run in under 30 minutes. Here are some fun shots of your favorite runners! We all liked it so much, we think we'll do it again! Merry Christmas.

How Old is Your Brain?

Hey, Danny Hayes sent this link to me. I took the test twice. The first time I scored 33 and the second time 28. Pretty cool you have a dad/husband with such a YOUTHFUL brain age - not to be confused with immaturity! :) The site instructions are in Japanese, so read below! 1. Touch 'start' 2. Wait for 3, 2, 1. 3. Memorize the number's position on the screen, then click the circle from the smallest number to the biggest number. 4. At the end of game, computer will tell you the age of your brain. Here's the link: http://flashfabrica.com/f_learning/brain/brain.html Have fun!

I am alive

Yes, I did it. I survived finals week. And as a celebration, I've posted some more of my projects on my blog if you want to go check them out. :) alexiscannariato.blogspot.com

When life gets you down....

Okay here's where I should put some proverb, or something to make you feel better. But knowing me and my love for ACCOUNTING! You should all just know that what I have to say is purely numbers related. Haha, in accounting today my (extravagantly wealthy) teacher gave us this link when we were talking about budgeting. http://vcr.csrwire.com/node/9964. And my proverb I guess is just that, there's more to life than just money. Family, happiness, leisure, and stability are all super good. Merry Christmas everyone! Love, Eliza (okay really I just wanted to share this movie, and I didn't know how to tie it in. So that's just too bad for all of you! Heeheee ♥)

Sister Cannariato's Knee

Our dear missionary emailed yesterday to say she had an MRI and was meeting with an orthopedic doctor this morning. She has a torn the meniscus in her right knee. She thought she could tough it out until the end of her mission, but it is just getting worse. She is to have outpatient, orthoscopic surgery sometime in the next couple of weeks - Merry Christmas to her! I spoke with the mission president's wife on the phone yesterday and I am comfortable that this is a good thing for Steph. Recovery time is just a couple of weeks until she is back to full strength. Please remember her in your prayers. Thanks.
