We need your help filling in the caption above these carrots heads. Just what are they saying? Yes, they came from our wonderfully productive garden.

More of Becca's Oregon Experiences

Friday night Becca and I did Pedicures- pretty feet! On Saturday, we went to the zoo, then to "party in the park", a rec center activity. We all loved the Sea lions and the face painting. After naps, we went to Deseret Book to find Steph a present, but we couldn't find something good enough for our missionary (sorry steph!). We then went to a Thai restaurant and had lots of leftovers. We drove by the temple on the way home. It is so beautiful. We ended our adventurous day with a bang... Ethan pooed his pants in the car. yep, that's right. GROSS!!! (poor kid) Too much info, I know, but it was a big part of our day. Becca gave the kids a bath while I disinfected the car. Today was good. We had a good day at church. The weather is great, so we walked to the park this evening, then pulled eachother in the wagon. Hope you all are having fun like us!

Becca's visit!!!

Image
We love having Becca visit us... here's some recent happennings... She colored Monica's hair, cut her own, we went shopping, visited OMSI, made BBQ pizza, and lots of other fun stuff. Nate and I got to go on a few dates, one to Costco to purchase a new toaster (YEA!)

To the Beach!

Yesterday we took a day trip to the Oregon Coast and had SO much fun! We went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, had a private lunch on the harbor, went to the outlet mall in Lincoln City (only fun for Monica) and went to the Beach in Lincoln City. We flew kites and Ethan even swam in the freezing Pacific! We had so much fun at the Family Reunion, that we wanted to extend our vacation. It's nice to be so close to the coast.

Thanks to each and everyone for participating in our inaugural family reunion. We love you all.

Grandma Bonnie

We got a call from Ellen that Grandma Bonnie passed away yesterday, July 1. She had been in hospice care for several weeks. Grandpa Ray left us on May 17. Now they are reunited again. Please remember all the Almonds in your prayers.
