Becca & I had a blast. We stayed in trendy, upscale LaJolla, drove to the temple, visited museums at Balboa Park, saw lots of animals at the world famous zoo, shopped at a great mall, and went to SEA WORLD. Here are a few pics to enjoy.

Happy Birthday Mother!

Dear Mom, just for you, I made a scrapbook page! And I learned something too- we need to take more pictures of us together! But Mother, I hope you like it, and everyone else too! Love, Liza

Brain Power!

Image
Our new roommates Natalie and Melissa (the two in the back in the middle) have been initiated into our society of...bangs and brains...ya... Anyway, we all get these scrunchy head bands that look like brains (at least the pink ones) and then we fix our hair so that it looks like we have awesome bangs. So far I can still have fun being an Interior Design major. We'll see how long that lasts. And don't forget to look at my "tour of Rexburg" because I posted two things. I love you all and hope you're having as much fun as I am. Maybe in a different way though...

A Tour of BYU-Idaho...kind of

Here are some pictures of what I get to see every day in good old Rexburg. There's my apartment, lucky 113! There's the back view of the beautiful Rexburg temple. This past week was the third time I couldn't get in because it was so full! There's a picture of the Hinckley building which is the only building that the person it was dedicated to was there and alive. And there are some pictures of the garden with this cute house thing with swings. Rexburg is a very beautiful place and I hope this helps all of you see that. I wish you could all come visit me and not only see it, but feel the wonderful spirit of this amazing campus. Yay for BYU-Idaho!

Blake's b-day and other fun times

Here's some pics from the past few weeks, Blake's bday and a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge, an indoor water park.

Perfect Day in Portland

Grandpa sure had fun at the Walter's today. We got to go to OMSI and play, then did some shopping for a certain important person's upcoming birthday. After our naps we got to go to dinner at Red Robin. It was about the most fun Grandpa has had in a long time. Thank you Blake, Ethan, Monica & Nate. Love you all.

Since I can't be out-done by Liza, I'm posting some of my own pictures from school. And some from education week when I had lunch with Aunt Chris and Uncle John. Roommates (back row): Natalie Gillenwater from Louisville, Kentucky, Kendra Johansen from Nampa, Kimberly Walton from Boise. (front row): Melissa Thornton from Meridian, Me, and Jenna Olsen from Ogden UT. I love them! And there's my awesomely tiny room!

Eliza's College Happenings!

Hey Fam, here are some pictures of recent happenings in 237 Whitney Hall--First off, here is a picture of Whitney Hall, as well as the view from our front door. During this first week, we made cookie dough, I bought books (soo many..thanks Colie for the discount!) and we got TWO pets! Jena bought a beta fish- because she misses hers at home :( So he sits on our kitchen table (shh...don't tell the RA!) Also, today while I was at my computer, I looked over at my bed and a PRAYING MANTIS was sitting there on top of my covers! I caught him in a glass (after totally freaking out, laughing my head off, and scaring my roommate Megan!) and we kept him in the kitchen as well for about.....3 hours. Then I set him free outside, to go out into the big world! aww..don't they just grow up so fast? :) Anyways, life is great! We have an FHE BBQ tonight, and tomorrow I'm going to see a french film! Love you all, Liza

Look out BYU - Here Comes ELIZA!

She's now a P-Town fixture and BYU co-ed. We enjoyed a fun weekend helping her settle in to 237 Whitney Hall. It's so good that Nicole, Jake and Aunt Chris are nearby. Here are a few fun photos for you to enjoy.
