March Madness!

Image
Lots have stuff has happened this week! We invited Robert and Jeff over for Easter dinner, Jeff and I had a dance competition, we hiked the Menan Buttes, my roommates fashioned a sweater for me, and I got a hair cut. Even though I didn't have a spring break, I still had lots of fun. I hope the Fam enjoyed their cruise and I can't wait to hear all about it. I hope the Walters are having lots of fun in Portland and I hope Nicole and Jake are having fun in Provo. I just want all of you who are enjoying nice weather to know that it has snowed a couple times this past week. So be grateful that snow is actually melting and it looks like spring, because it doesn't look like it here! I love you all!

College Fun!

Happy almost Easter everyone! Here are some pictures of things I've been up to...like eating Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey with Kim, buying BYU-I sweats (they are SO comfy!), and dying eggs with my FHE group. Actually, I didn't make any of those because I was making dinner, but don't they look beautiful! I love you all and hope that you're having as much fun as I am!

These are pictures from Nate and Monica's visit which we took at Temple Square several months ago. In addition, the first picture display's Nicole's delightful new haircut. I surprised her with the camera so she insists that she wasn't ready for the picture but isn't she beautiful!? We hope you enjoy the photos Love Jake and Nicole

Eliza's abbreviated birthday bashes - With her lunch bunch and then with her family. Yes, the hats were re-used and the same cake was served. She loved her gifts and traveled to Portland today with the CHS chamber orchestra. What a way to spend your 18th birthday - a road trip with your orchestra buddies. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIZA! WE LOVE YOU!

Party-rific!

After a long, grueling week of school my roommates and I decided we would have a game night. We invited a bunch of our friends from our classes and ward. We played Cranium and then made pizza! We also played a couple intense rounds of Candy Land. Then some of us went to the Hart and played ping pong. It was so much fun! And before everyone left, we watched some of Newsies. Here is a picture of Brad, Steven, Me, and Jeff with our amazing pizza. Brad is in my ward and is going to get his mission call this week. Steven is in my Chemistry class and Jeff is in my social dance class. Yay for parties! :)

February Update

This past week has been so fun for me. First, I got to go home and see my wonderful family (if only everyone could have been there...). I think my favorite part was popping out of the car trunk and completely surprising Mom. I'm sorry that you guys had to send the package, but I really wanted to surprise you. I had lots of fun making my birthday cake with Mom and then going out to Olive Garden with the grandmas (hint hint you guys should send me pictures). I opened all the wonderful cards and my present. Everyone made me feel so special! Then, on my actual birthday my roommates made me breakfast (mmm cinamon rolls!) and dinner. We have a tradition in our apartment that we have to wear the birthday outfit. It is comprised of fairy wings, a blue lacy apron, a birthday girl broach, and a crown. Then they added pink sunglasses! Some friends came over and we had brownies and ice cream and played my new game Cranium. Also, Tyson, a boy I've been on a couple dates with, gave me a bunc
