The Legos kept Becca busy all Christmas Day!

There is just something about getting away from it all and breathing the fresh air and feeling the sunshine and all that wonderful snow up at Bogus Basin. And of course, being with my girlfriends and solving the world's problems. Thank you ladies for giving me a mental health day up on the slopes. You're wonderful!

First off I would just like to publicly say that our family not only has the coolest (and largest?) cat that has ever existed, but we also have the greatest mom ever to have included said cat in Stephanie's wedding photos. Mom, words cannot describe your awesomeness. On to the real reason why I'm posting. You might want to sit down. Well, you probably are since you're reading this on a computer somewhere and usually sitting is involved when someone is at a computer. Anyway, I posted on my blog. Check it out here .

The snow began yesterday, and it snowed all night. We woke up to 8 inches of snow this morning. All the kids are out of school! Hurray!!!

Steve & Dawn celebrated "empty-nesterhood" with a 10 day trip to Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, Milan & Venice. What wonderful memories we made.

Thanks to everyone for coming to Grandpa's party at the Walter's lovely new home in Riverton. G&G Cannariato were very pleased to see everyone.

Noah is the cutest little boy. He is generally so happy, but when he gets tired, that's the end of it.

This was a wonderful fireside I listened to this morning, by Elder Bednar. I love all of you and hope you use this influence in making the big and little decisions you have in your lives. Poor Becca has to give a talk tonight in the "Reject Ward", meaning those kids who work during the day. I was looking up mormon jokes for her to open her talk with. These are so bad, but, yet so funny. Hope they lighten up your day. Also, here's a photo of my weekend project up in McCall. I never want to paint again. A man in the ward goes to see his bishop and says, "Bishop, something terrible is happening and I have to talk to you about it." The bishop asks, "What's wrong?" The man replies, "My wife is poisoning me." The bishop, a bit surprised, asks, "How can that be?" The brother then pleads, "I'm telling you - I'm certain she's poisoning me. What should I do?" The bishop then offers, "Tell you what. Let me talk to her. I'll see what I can find out and I'll let you know." I enjoyed a week on the LadyHawk, Gary's nice boat. We fished the waters on the outer side of Vancouver Island and had a very nice time. Here are some pics.

This is our second biennial family reunion. We had the whole gang together in Boise for boating at Black Canyon our first day. The second day, we're just recuperating. Whew! We had Black Canyon nearly to ourselves when we got there early in the morning. The reservior was glass and everyone got to waterski and wakeboard and tube, and some of us were completely happy to sit on the sandy beach and play in the water and build sandmermaids.
