No More Homework, No More Books....

It really hit home at the CHS senior awards night last Thursday that Eliza is really graduating. She was honored as a presidential scholar, valedictorian and national merit finalist that evening. Friday was senior picnic and the last day of her high school career! WHOOPEE!!! Graduation in 8 days! We are proud of her accomplishments and will miss her when she heads off to Provo in the fall.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

BARACK OBAMA: The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a CHANGE! The chicken wanted CHANGE! JOHN MC CAIN: My friends, that chicken crossed the road because he recognized the need to engage in operations and dialogue with all the chickens on the other side of the road. HILLARY CLINTON: When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little chicken to cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely qualified to ensure -- right from day one! -- that every chicken in this country gets the chance it deserves to cross the road. But then, this really isn't about me....... DR. PHIL: The problem we have here is that this chicken won't realize that he must first deal with the problem on 'THIS' side of the road before it goes after the problem on the 'OTHER SIDE' of the road. What we need to do is help him realize how stupid he's acting by not taking on his 'CURRENT' problems before adding 'NEW' problems. OPRAH: Well,

Just Want You to Know

Becca's Week

Becca had her first official date on Friday night with Russell Leavitt. Their were two couples that went bowling, to pizza and watched the sunset from the foothills. She had time this weekend to finish the painting for Dad's office. On Thursday evening Becca played a beautiful piece in her piano recital. And a fourth big deal, Becca received a 97% on her poetry anthology - AMAZING!

Blast from the Past

Here's a tribute to all you Cannariato girls out there (and of course Nate and Ethan who are so good at this game!) It doesn't look cool at first, but just keep watching! I say, family reunion this summer, we try it ourselves! Mario Theme Played with RC Car and Bottles - Watch more free videos

A Very Happy Sunday!

Image
Well, today when I arrived home from church, there was a very happy message written on our circle drive! Complete with FedEx symbol (did you know there's an arrow in there? haha) there was a lovely chalked message: Liz, you're making me lose all my marbles. Good luck finding them! And there was a marble trail (can you imagine mowing the lawn if I missed any?) going through our grass to around the side of the house. Then, back there (after having to walk through all the prickly bushes in my church dress!) I found this: It was all very cute, and there was an ode to me somewhere and all sorts of adorable stuff. But basically thats it! Now who can think of a great way to answer?? Loves, Liza
