This morning Dad ran his very first 10K at the West Valley Medical Center in Nampa. His time was just under 49 minutes. Hurray! He had his running tunes in his ears and he just flew! Go Dad!

Dad and I drove to Pocatello to take Rebecca out to lunch at Buddy's for her 19th Birthday. I know, driving 3 1/2 hours to spend 2 hours there and then 3 1/2 hours back home is a long day, but it was nice to see Bec and eat lunch with her. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

This past weekend almost all of the ladies got together to celebrate Liza's engagement to Shenli. We had delicious food (fondue!), a short silly game, and fun presents. What a bunch of good-lookin' ladies! Even Maylie and Noah had a good time...most of the time. :) Grandma and Blake built a really cool pyramid like on Minute to Win It. Blake sort of helped... Speaking of Blake, here he is with his favorite aunt! Like Eddie said, "We come for the food and the family!"

Dear family in Boise (Mom, Dad, Zeke, and the Grandmas), I am coming home this weekend! Thursday and Friday are my last two days of finals. And I just have one more test! All I need to do is finish grading for work, clean my apartment, and pack up! Then I'll be headed your way! It will be Saturday most likely. For all of you who are concerned that I won't be able to fit all of my stuff in my car, just you wait. I am my father's daughter and have inherited some of his mad packing skills. It better be warm there because it just snowed last night. I am ready to be out of Rexburg!
