Cannariato~Almond Adventures

Dad and I drove over to Rexburg to help Alexis celebrate her 22nd birthday. We had a tour of her interior design department on campus, and saw her gorgeous project drawings that won her first place in the NKBA student competition. We had dinner at Red Robin, and stuffed ourselves. It is so bitter cold in eastern Idaho, but very beautiful this time of year. We enjoyed a little shopping therapy in Idaho Falls on Saturday, and just enjoyed being together. Happy Birthday, Honey. We Love You.

Yesterday it was 60 degrees! Today we get hail the size of marbles! What's happening to us?!

Our Stake hosted the Priests & Laurels from 5 Stakes in the first "February Formal" - a girl ask guy dance where high standards of dress & conduct were expected. Over 480 youth had a great experience - good music, wholesome dancing, beautiful decorations and great refreshments. Dawn & I worked the Italian Soda station but got to sneak in a few dances ourselves and of course got our picture taken. Happy Valentine's Day!

Just to let you all know, Miss Eliza has been named to the Marriott School Dean's List. She has also been nominated for the national Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. We are super proud of her and her accomplishments this year at BYU. Eliza, we love you and think you are wonderful!
