So for dinner on Sunday, I invited my FHE brothers over. Ya, we're a pretty good looking family. Good thing we're not really related! ;) Starting on the left and going around the table: Natalie, Kim Melissa, Rick, Jenna, Stu, Seth, Devin, Jake, and Dave.
Nothing like a Big Happy Family for Sunday dinner! Just for everyone's information, the first time I had spaghetti without plates (you know how we do it with the clear plastic wrap on the table and no utensils or plates) was with my FHE sisters at BYU. Great traditions often have their beginnings at college. What a fun time of life!
Here's my FHE family (minus Kim and the four other girls...they had to leave early). We had so much fun carving pumpkins. We're planning on roasting the seeds once we figure out how to do that properly. Thanks for letting me take home the giant pumpkin! It make a lovely "H" for FHE. Picture 1: Me carving...look at that form! Dad would be so proud! Picture 2: Our beautiful pumpkin carving skills Picture 3: My amazing FHE group. Back row left to right is Casey, Neil, and Peter. Front row left to right is Jenna, Me, Kendra, and Stephen.
Here's our lists! Shenli -White church shirt: size 14 1/2 by 32/22 (non-iron if possible) -Mouse pad Eliza -Candy/water temperature thermometer -File box for important documents -Cardigans ( here , here , here or anything!) Both -Board games for 2-4 people (Dominion, Ticket to Ride, anything else that sounds fun!) -Gift cards for eating out: Sonic, Red Robin, Applebee's, Olive Garden
What a wonderful experience I had today. I drove 140 miles from Calgary to Cardston and attended the temple there. Of all the temples I have attended, the architecture of this temple is the most stunning. The interior is done in the Frank Lloyd Wright "Prairie" style and the detail is simply breathtaking. What memories I shall treasure from being here today.
